Manjunath H., one of our boys, has been doing exceptionally well in the NCC. Earlier he had won accolades for his tent pitching and obstacle course skills at a camp in Bengaluru. After that he was invited to attend a camp at Mysuru. After succeeding and doing well at that camp, he was invited to participate in a 12-day camp at the NCC DG in Delhi. It is remarkable that Manjunath was one of two boys who represented Goa in the Karnataka and Goa contingent.
At Delhi, each contingent was put up in a different barrack. The Karnataka and Goa contingent won the trophy in the Line Area competition, which meant that they were the best in keeping their baracks clean, tidy, well-organised and well decorated.
Manjunath performed well in the tent pitching competition as well. However, the obstacle course competition could not be conducted due to the rainy conditions in the capital.
We are proud of the achievements of Manjunath, who is a sober, well-behaved and disciplined boy. We wish him more success in his future endeavours.
