Mallikarjun
Mallikarjun was placed in MBBS in the year 2009. MBBS made it possible for him to build a bond with other boys and provided him with life skills training to lead an independent life. He did a plumbing course at the Indo-German Techo Centre, Siolim. He also did a diploma in Hotel Management from Don Bosco Vocational Institution, Quepem. After completing his diploma, he was placed in Taj Vivanta for internship. Soon he got an offer letter from Taj Hotel Village Resort and Spa, Candolim where he worked for a few years. He now works at the Taj Resort and Convention Centre, Dona Paula.
Afrid Shaikh
Afrid was placed in MBBS in 2019. He completed his Higher Secondary from St. Francis Xavier School, Siolim and his BA from St. Xavier’s, Mapusa. In his final year, he expressed a desire to join an airline as Cabin Crew. He was asked to undergo training in the Hotel Industry to gain experience in dealing with guests. He then answered an interview with STAR AIR in Bangalore and was selected to work as ground staff. Later he got transferred to Mumbai where he is currently based.
Suraj Pawar
Suraj joined in 2014. In Std. X, he stood first in the Govt. School, Namoshi, Guirim. He secured 84% in XIIth standard from St. Thomas, Aldona and was placed third in the rankings. He is pursuing his BCom from Xaviers College, Mapusa. He is also privately studying to be a Chartered Accountant. He is a good sportsman and is active in co-curricular activities including music. Suraj has won a lot of awards and accolades.
Manjunath
Manjunath joined MBBS in 2017. He is from Vasco and has always been athletically inclined. Manjunath has a keen desire to join the Police force. During his schooling, he has been an active member of the National Cadet Corps. Besides this, he has been active on the sports field being good in sports and athletics. Recently, at the 37th Inter-Collegiate Athletics Championships for Men and Women, he was the runner-up in the Decathlon and 1500m, missing the first place by a whisker. He is now actively pursuing avenues to join the Police force in Goa. We wish him all success.
