About Us

History

Situated in Paliem, Ucassaim in Bardez, Goa since 2007.

The home provides the needy a chance – ek mauka – an opportunity to shape their lives in a serene and natural setting.

Margaret Bosco Bal Sadan (MBBS) is a Child Care Institution run by Don Bosco Group of Institutions and homes across the state of Goa. The home caters to boys who are in need of shelter, education, care and protection. Named after the mother of the great educationist Don Bosco, MBBS aims to provide roots and wings to young boys (6 to 21 years), irrespective of religion, caste or community; who are disadvantaged in society because of family crisis, abandonment, poverty or other social evils. Boys are admitted to MBBS purely with orders from the Child Welfare Committee-North Goa.

Our approach

Our Vision

To build a society that cares for its children and youth through preventive and promotional approaches, and to invigorate this society to support children and youth by activating forces in them that favours the destitute and champions their cause.

Our Mission
Margaret Bosco Bal Sadan encourages the children and young at risk to join the mainstream society as educated and productive citizens through collusion with the children and youth in their daily struggle.
Our Core Values
That every child in need of care and protection be given shelter, sustenance and basic education. Nurture, listen and prioritise how we deal with underprivileged children and youth, and make every effort to provide them roots and wings to stand up in society with dignity.
