Children’s Day at MBBS

There is a small group of volunteers who help the students with their studies every evening. These teachers decided to have a small programme for the boys on the occasion of Children’s Day, keeping in mind that the boys always put up a small programme for days like Teacher’s Day.

With this in mind, the teachers decided to get a goodie bag for each boy and also to have a couple of games. At the very last moment, we also decided to perfom two songs – an action song, “God Loves You”, and a song for children titled “Child”.

There was a buzz of excitement as 4.30pm approached…the boys did not know what to expect. However, they were all too happy to participate enthusiastically in the action song.

They also heard the song “Child” in silence as if they were absorbing the words of the song.

Then it was time to play a game. They boys were grouped into two teams and had a rollicking time stacking glasses into a pyramid. After this, we played “Bombing the City”, which the boys enjoyed thoroughly.

After a break for tea, we gave them the goodie bags and they were overjoyed! Soon after this we had to break for the Medical Camp.
